Cats and dogs help enrich our lives. They become parts of the family, often making us whole, and that deserves endless celebration. With that in mind, I worked closely with Bond Vet Clinic to create a piece that would help express that feeling for their new clinic in Atlanta.
My favorite Atlanta phrase is “Peace Up, A-town Down.” For me, it’s the perfect representation of our city. We do what’s necessary to take care of each other. The phrase kept popping into my head as I was brainstorming ideas for the mural, and I realized that the sentiment absolutely includes our pets. So, with a little wordplay, “Paws Up, A-town Down” became a way to underscore the love and care that’s shared for our pets here.
